Mercatus is excited to welcome Hanna Khikhol to its growing team. Hanna comes to Mercatus from the FinTech space, bringing over her years of experience in data management, consulting, and tech transformation. We recently sat with Hanna to learn more about her new role, what brought her to Mercatus, and her thoughts on the future of the private market technology.

What is your role at Mercatus?
I joined Mercatus as a program manager to lead the implementation stage of our growing pipeline in the European market. My focus is always on the client: bringing tangible value and building meaningful relationships is the way forward. We grow when they grow.

What is your background / story?
I have been working in data management, consulting, and tech transformation in FinTech for 7 years now. My former clients span from blue-chip banks to small private companies, so I can appreciate the scale of operational complexity and the need for structure and streamline.

In your past role(s) what are some unmet needs from private market investors around data management technology?
The speed of analysis, sleek visual data representation, and historical data at your fingertips are among the top few. In a world where wiring payments takes minutes if not seconds, you want to be ready to make informed decisions fast. Put your money where your data is.

How do you see private market technology evolving over the next decade?
Quick access to data wherever you are, whenever you want it, however, you need it. Maybe not in the next decade, but I see it as the ultimate gold standard. I envisage stakeholders (investors and regulators alike) more and more demanding to the transparency and flexibility of reporting.

What excites you about Mercatus?
It’s the people and culture really: a sense of comradery paired with intense knowledge and desire to give your very best. The top of the shelf unique product is a nice bonus.

What is your go-to karaoke song?
